The Cattle
The Schoenbergs have been caring for their cattle for over a 100 years. We take pride in providing the best care of every animal on the farm. John Schoenberg said it best, “Take care of your cattle and they will take care of you.” The cattle that John is talking about have been raised without the use of any synthetic hormones such as rBST/rBGH or growth hormones. The herd of cattle is primarily Holstein, however, we have implemented a cross breeding program with Brown-Swiss to obtain a strong cow that will last for many years. The cows are cared for with a special program of high Omega III feed that produces high-quality, personally crafted milk that is superior in the market. Even the baby calves are born on-site and receive a special feeding program that includes milk directly from their mother. |
