The Farm
Dating back to the late 1800s, five generations of the Schoenberg family have farmed the land located between Melrose and Paynesville in central Minnesota. The Schoenbergs have stood proud in the Dairy industry over each of these generations. They have worked hard in maintaining their heritage by caring for their animals and the land. The 475 acres of land that the Schoenbergs call home provides much of the feed for the cattle including alfalfa, corn, and a year-round supply of grass-hay. The Schoenbergs also use natural cow-manure for fertilizer to preserve and replenish nutrients in the land needed to grow their sustainable crops. |
